We’re thrilled to announce that Resolution Physiotherapy is now offering Chiropractic Assessment and Treatment, and to welcome Julie Steffler, Chiropractor, to our multidisciplinary team!

Originally from Tottenham, Ontario, Julie has always been passionate about sports, particularly soccer and wrestling. She played for the Barrie Soccer Club and competed with K-Bay Athletics, achieving success at both the provincial and national levels. Julie also proudly represented Canada Wrestling at the World Championships and several international competitions.

After experiencing her own share of sports injuries, including two ACL surgeries, Julie was inspired by the exceptional healthcare professionals who helped her recover. Their impact motivated her to pursue a career in helping others return to their active lifestyles.

Julie attended Western University, obtaining her Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2019. Then went to Brock University to complete a Masters of Professional Kinesiology in 2020. After working for a year as a Registered Kinesiologist, she decided to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic at Palmer College in Florida. Julie graduated cum laude in March 2025 from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida.

Julie is passionate about building genuine connections with her clients and meeting them wherever they are in their health journey. She focuses on creating individualized treatment plans that promote recovery, movement, and long-term well-being.

Her approach is client-centered and evidence-informed, drawing from a wide range of techniques, including:

  • Spinal Manipulative Therapy (Diversified, Thompson, Activator Methods)

  • Soft Tissue Techniques (IASTM, cupping)

  • Modalities (shockwave therapy)

  • Exercise Rehabilitation

Julie’s care plans often combine these methods to best suit each client’s unique condition, comfort level, and goals.
