Ivanka graduated from McMaster University with a Masters of Science degree in Physiotherapy. Prior to this, she graduated with distinction from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in Gerontology. At McMaster, Ivanka was a varsity athlete on the women’s soccer team. Her athletic background has given her a strong interest in manual therapy as she is currently an Intermediate Manual and Manipulative therapist. Ivanka has recently completed her Level 5 Manual Therapy Certification, which is the highest manual therapy course in Canada, and is looking forward to completing her Diploma of Advanced Manual & Manipulative Physiotherapy, the highest Manual Physiotherapy Certification in Canada. Ivanka has also completed acupuncture training through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute. She has further training in Vestibular Rehabilitation, Concussion Management, Therapeutic Taping, and Functional Movement Systems.
When not working, she enjoys rock climbing, playing squash, and snowboarding. She can also be found training her dog in the sport of Fly Ball.
